Hair Care Atlanta GA

Your hair on your head is precious.  Caring for your hair is crucial. One day you may look back and regret the way you’ve treated it.  In fact, there are some things that you may be doing that is damaging your hair that you’re not even aware that you are causing such damage.  Knowing what you should avoid will help ensure that your hair stays as healthy as it should. Many people do these damaging things, at salons and at home.

  1. Bleaching Your Hair

Bleaching is done when you want to lighten your hair and/or allow for hair dyes to penetrate the strands more effectively. The strong solution is absorbed by the hair’s cuticle. As a result of bleaching, your hair weakens, causing breakage, a dull look, and split ends.

  1. Dying Your Hair

Whether it’s hi-lights, full color, permanent, or even semi-permanent, dyeing your hair changes its inner structure.  While dying your hair isn’t as bad as bleaching, doing so will still cause it to look dull and dry, especially if done frequently.

  1. Getting A Perm

Getting your hair permed was a hit in the 80s.  Now, in 2019 the style is regaining its popularity. During a perm your hair is being treated with strong chemicals which can cause quite a bit of damage.

  1. Braids and Ponytails

Braids and ponytails can cause your hair to break.  Especially if they are tight or not pulled out carefully. When braiding or putting your hair in a ponytail be sure to do it while it is dry. When your hair is wet it’s fragile and will break more easily.

Our Patients Love Us!

I came in for injections to help with some thinning I was experiencing on my frontal hairline. I couldn't be happier after treatment and am excited to see my results after full treatment is completed in 3-6 months. This is a great option for women that many aren't even aware of if you are experiencing some hair loss/ thinning.
